Cotton is a commodity.  The cost of t-shirts reflects the current market cost of cotton throughout the distribution chain, tariffs and transportation. Manufacturing plants switching to mask-making and distribution chain issues caused by COVID-19 has had an effect on shirt availability and pricing.  Our goal is always to keep school costs as low as possible.

Fun Run 101 has partnered with The Rooted Family to create short mental fitness videos that can be shared at kickoff assemblies, before the run, and with families.  They are designed to help students mentally and mindfully prepare to run their best race and manage any added stress or anxiety they may have about their personal performance.

In response to COVID-19, they are offering a 30% discount to all schools who sign up for The Rooted School: Employee Wellness Program by August 31, 2020, even if they don’t plan in implementing the program until next school year. Email them to learn more about details, pricing and getting started.

Beginning in Fall 2020, the FR101 Program fee is being reduced from 15% to 14%.  Schools will realize a savings of 6.67% (1/15) on that fee from prior years.  This fee reduction is made possible by the addition of donor tipping functionality.  Similar to other crowdfunding sites, donors now have the option to add a tip of any amount to support the fundraising platform.  While most donors don’t tip, those that do are making it possible for us to reduce the cost of our program.  We’re excited to leave more money with our schools!
