Q: What if I don’t have a Horrible Holiday/Ugly Sweater?
A: You’re in luck! WNC has Horrible Holiday sweaters for purchase or to rent for the day. Sweaters will be available on Friday night during packet pickup/registration as well as on Saturday prior to the start of the Shuffle.
Q: Where do I park?
A: You may park at the St. John’s Parking lot. You will not be able to park on Main Street in front of The Lone Girl during the event. In addition, please do not park in The Lone Girl parking lot nor in the surrounding businesses parking lots.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Yes, you may bring your dog but it must be on a leash at all times.
Q: Are strollers allowed?
A: Yes, strollers are allowed. Register your little ones so they can get in on the fun too!
Q: What can I expect at the three “candy” stations along the route?
A: There will be three holiday themed candy stations along the route.
Q: What are participants encouraged to wear?
A: This is a fun run/walk! Don those “ugly” sweaters for a chance to win the “ugliest sweater” trophy! Think tacky holiday sweaters with lots of flair. Any holiday apparel is encouraged!
Q: Is this race chip timed?
A: This race will have a race clock timer but it is NOT chip timed. Race bibs will be provided so we know who all our fabulous participants are.
Q: Is there a post-race party?
A: Yes, there is a post-race party with your chance to refuel at The Lone Girl by enjoying their buffet and drink specials. Buffet will be $15/adult and $10/child with the purchase of a wristband either at registration the day before or during the event. Post-race drink specials include $4 Lone Girl drafts, $6 Bloody Mary’s and $6 Mimosas. The buffet and specials will run from 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM.
